What we do

This course is designed to prepare you to become a Pharmacy Technician.  It is designed to get you the classroom training, Online Computer Based Training, laboratory, and clinical externship time necessary to get you ready for the State Licensing process.  We offer this course in several convenient California locations, including San Jose, Milpitas, Jackson, Sacramento, Modesto and Vacaville.

Our program provides training in alternative medicine, pharmacopeia therapeutics, customer care, retail and hospital software systems, inventory management, and infection control.  You will receive practical training, such as completing an externship in an actual pharmacy. This is required as part of the training necessary to qualify for the certification.  Once you are certified, you are on your way towards employment as a pharmacy technician.

As most employers prefer pharmacy technicians to have a certification with a national and/or State pharmacy board, this pre-certification training  is available through many private organizations.  We feel, though, that our organization is the best!  Our research into what wages can be expected has come up with quite a range depending on where you live.  The most common entry level wages start around $15.00 an hour but larger metropolitan areas such as San Francisco can be as high as $30.00.  These are usually full time positions with benefits and the field is hiring!
